TripBooster helps you organize trips, reservations, documents, and plans. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information — email address, display name, and authentication details when you sign up or sign in.
- Trip content — itineraries, reservations, places, notes, uploaded documents, and messages you add or import into TripBooster.
- Imported data — confirmation emails, PDFs, and connected inbox content you choose to forward or link for parsing.
- Usage data — device type, app version, log data, and how you interact with features so we can operate and improve the service.
How we use information
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and secure TripBooster
- Parse bookings and build your trip timeline
- Store and sync documents in your private vault
- Power trip-aware AI features, alerts, and recommendations
- Send service, security, and trip-related notifications you opt into
- Respond to support requests and enforce our terms
AI and automated processing
TripBooster uses automated systems, including AI models, to extract details from confirmations, screenshots, and links; answer trip questions; and surface alerts. We process only the content needed to deliver these features. Depending on your settings, some extraction may run on-device instead of in the cloud.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data:
- With collaborators you invite to a trip, limited to what you choose to share in that trip
- With service providers that help us run TripBooster (hosting, email delivery, maps, analytics, and AI infrastructure), under contractual confidentiality obligations
- When required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice where required
Data retention and security
We retain your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Vault documents are stored with encryption in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we apply industry-standard safeguards.
Your choices
- Access, update, or delete trip content from within the app
- Disconnect inbox import or third-party integrations
- Manage notification preferences in settings
- Delete your account from Settings → Account in the web or iOS app
Children
TripBooster is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the app or by email.
